New technologies, digital solutions and groundbreaking scientific discoveries open up enormous opportunities – but the path from idea to medical practice is challenging. Effective innovation transfer is therefore becoming a decisive factor for the future success of our healthcare system.

Approval procedures such as MDR or FDA, ethical issues and international differences between Switzerland, Europe and the USA present common challenges for stakeholders in medicine, politics, business and industry. How can we create conditions that promote innovation without compromising the safety and quality of care?

This year's symposium is dedicated to these key questions. Representatives from research, medtech, pharmaceuticals, politics and healthcare will discuss the opportunities and obstacles to innovation transfer and jointly develop approaches for future-oriented, ethically responsible and internationally competitive cutting-edge medicine.
